Clare Saves The Roxy Theatre
Clare McCann has saved The Roxy Theatre from destruction! After leading the #SaveTheRoxy Theatre Campaign; building a huge network of online supporters, compiling a petition and going to speak out against it's renovation at the council meeting, Clare has broughg the campaign to success.
Clare and her campaign was mentioned in numerous press articles with newspapers: The Sydney Morning Herald, The Parramatta Sun, The Parramatta Advertister and Western Sydney Business Insider and the owner finally publicly promised the Theatre would not be destoryed and would remain a theatre. The owner promised to building an apartment complex instead on a platform behind and above The Roxy Theatre.
Thankyou to everyone who got behind and supported the Campaign and saw it's importance to The Arts and to our architectual history and future generations.
